Foxconn Technology Group on Wednesday announced its plans to build a $10 billion production plant in Mount Pleasant, opening the door to the next stage of negotiations over the project.
Foxconn in July revealed that it had selected southeast Wisconsin for its first U.S. manufacturing plant after a national search. That plant will be the Taiwanese company’s main U.S. operation for making and distributing LCD screens.
The company said Wednesday its main plant will be bordered by Interstate 94, Braun Road, Highway H and Highway KR, on the southern border of Racine County in Mount Pleasant.
