Gibraltar schools shine during Gov. Walker visit to highlight investments

Gov. Scott Walker addressed a variety of topics, including reforming school funding and a proposed tax to repair Sturgeon Bay roads, after he toured the Gibraltar Area Schools and spoke to students at two assemblies.

Walker visited the schools to highlight his administration’s funding for schools, including backing a proposal to increase sparsity aid for rural schools, transportation aid in rural areas, support for mental health services and expanded efforts to provide broadband access statewide.
