Gov. Scott Walker stops in La Crosse to talk about economic growth

Governor Scott Walker stopped in La Crosse to speak at the La Crosse Area Development Corporations annual meeting.

Walker’s speech focused on economic growth and job creation in Wisconsin, where the state ranks second in the nation for year-over-year manufacturing jobs.

The governor highlighted many businesses that have grown in the region such as Kwik Trip and Dynamic Recycling.

Walker says he sees cities near the border of the state as important places to get people from other states to come to Wisconsin.
