Governor Walker speaks at Kimberly High School on Youth Apprenticeship Program

Governor Scott Walker spoke to students at Kimberly High School Friday morning about a program he says is a job creator in Wisconsin.  The Youth Apprenticeship Program, which is administered by the Department of Workforce Development, combines academic and technical instruction with hands-on, mentored job training to high school students, in a variety of areas like agriculture, manufacturing, information technology, finance, health science, and several others.

The governor says the program is an investment in the state’s workforce and creates new jobs in Wisconsin.
