GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – Gov. Scott Walker campaigned across the state on Sunday in an attempt to get U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin) re-elected.

Johnson is running against Democratic challenger Russ Feingold, who is trying to get his seat in the U.S. Senate back. Johnson defeated Feingold in the 2010 election.

During a stop in Green Bay, Gov. Walker said he’s happy to lend a helping hand in the home stretch leading up to the Nov. 8 election.

“Ron Johnson, who’s a manufacturer from Wisconsin who shares Wisconsin values, is actually putting people back to work and has experience doing that, and will do even more of that in the United States Senate,” Gov. Walker said. “I think it couldn’t be more clear. Ron Johnson represents Wisconsin values. Senator Feingold represents Washington values. That’s what’s at stake in this race.”
