72 County Coordinators Early Display of Statewide Organizational Strength
[Madison, Wis.] – Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign announced on Wednesday county coordinators in each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties to organize and lead grassroots efforts in support of the Governor’s re-election campaign.
“When we announced our campaign in November, we called for an army of grassroots volunteers to help us move Wisconsin forward in 2018 and beyond,” Governor Walker said. “I am proud to name county coordinators in each of the state’s 72 counties who are working to mobilize neighbors and fuel our campaign.”
The announcement of coordinators in every county is an early sign of the Walker campaign’s strength and determination. With more people working than ever before, over $8 billion in tax relief, and historic investments in our classrooms, Governor Walker and Wisconsin Republicans are ready and energized to keep moving the state forward.
Comprised of small business owners, community leaders, veterans, and more, the Walker County Coordinators will be in the field working with the campaign and the Republican Party of Wisconsin to continue the fight for Wisconsin’s hard-working families. Additionally, the County Coordinators will be the lead organizers in each county, helping the Governor achieve his ambitious door knocking and phone call goals, as well as organize campaign events, and spread the Governor’s message on social media and to their fellow neighbors.
