[Madison, Wis.] – In case you missed it, Governor Walker joined Fox News @ Night Thursday to discuss how his bold reforms have continued to get positive things done for Wisconsin.
Gov. Walker’s reforms are further proof that Wisconsin is working – increased work requirements for food stamps and drug screenings for welfare recipients are the results of the governor’s bold actions that continue to move Wisconsin forward.

It’s about getting a job. We’ve got three percent unemployment, the only other time we had it at three percent was when Tommy Thompson was the governor in the 1990s. He was a leader for welfare reform for the same reason we’re pushing it … People every week, sometimes every day, tell me they need able-bodied working adults…
It’s simple, we’ll help people when they’re down and out, but for those who are able, we want to get them in the workforce. We think public assistance should ultimately be more like a trampoline and less like a hammock.
