Proposal would increase funding for small Wisconsin school districts

A new proposal looks to offset the challenges faced by low-population school districts in Wisconsin.

Governor Scott Walker is backing the Sparsity Aid bill that’s been introduced by Rep. John Nygren that would increase aid to rural school districts.

Under the proposed legislation payments to small school districts would increase from $300 per-student to $400 per-student.
