Since taking office, Wisconsin has finished every year with a budget surplus thanks to Governor Walker’s leadership. Now, he is returning that surplus back to you – the taxpayer!
While liberals might think that money should stay in Madison and be spent by the government, we believe it should be returned to the hard-working taxpayers, so you can spend it on your priorities!
This August 1-5, shoppers can enjoy a sales tax holiday where certain items will be exempt from the collection of state sales tax. Just in time for back-to-school shopping, be sure to check out a list of eligible products below.
During Wisconsin’s sales tax holiday, purchases of the following items are tax-free:
- School Supplies – sale price of each item must not exceed $75;
- Clothing – sale price of each item must not exceed $75;
- Computers – purchased for personal use and with a sale price of no more than $750;
- Computer Supplies for School – purchased for personal use with a sale price of no more than $250.
