Gov. Scott Walker on Wednesday unveiled a new website to help companies seeking to do business with Foxconn Technology Group connect with the electronics manufacturer.
The site, WisconnValley.wi.gov, also lets firms sign up to be notified of bidding opportunities, and will provide construction updates and other information on the Foxconn project.
Meanwhile, Walker said an event will be held next month to provide information on the Foxconn development to current and potential construction workers. The “resource fair” is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. March 29 at Racine’s Festival Hall, 5 5th St.
The state also will hold a series of informational sessions on the Foxconn project for contractors. The schedule has not yet been set, but the meetings will be held in Appleton, Eagle River, Eau Claire, Janesville, La Crosse, Madison, Milwaukee, Racine, Platteville, Superior and Wausau.
